these modular and interactive sculpture projects are offer viewers the opportunity to create compositions with numerous configurations. each ‘viewer’ is charged with constructing their own ‘sculpture’ using the given elements. these similar but unique modules encourage and afford individual manipulation.

traditionally, viewing has been subjective, open for interpretation but not necessarily manipulation, however with these modular sculptures, creation becomes subjective. the art experience is 'de-essentialized' as the work itself enters into a constant state of flux, restricted only by participants’ own interpretations. these multi-unit sculptures are designed to interact with one another and their immediate space equally. not only are they are playful responses to sculptural conventions, they aptly serve as design tools and models for broad concepts of interaction and modularity.

the initial collages illustrate the interactive qualities of a two-part series in black, while the second series documents a larger four-part 'arc' series in white.
