drawing, painting, printing, and maquette-making play an important role in my process. as a result, much of my realized work ends up being somewhat graphic and is often composed of interactions between simple lines. my objects interact within three-dimensional space in much the same way a drawing interacts with paper. i both, view and reference my work as three-dimensional drawings, seeing them as suggestions of rudimental graphics (hard, soft, straight, curved, positive, and negative) presented erect, using the three-dimensional world as their canvas. the accompanying drawings, paintings, prints, and photographs offer a view into my process, and should illustrate how these explorations inspire new forms and help to explain interaction.
